Strategy Templates

Strategy Templates provide starting points for automated trading rules. They illustrate typical patterns and risk controls, which users can customize according to their preferences and risk tolerance.

What It Is

Templates are predefined strategy blueprints, such as trend-following, mean-reversion, or volatility-based approaches. Each template describes entry rules, exit rules, and risk parameters like position sizing and maximum concurrent trades.

How It Works

Users can browse available templates, inspect their logic, and clone them into their own workspace. From there, parameters can be adjusted, indicators swapped, and risk limits tailored to the user’s account size and goals. Templates are examples, not guarantees.

Who It Is For

  • Beginners who want a structured starting point instead of designing from scratch

  • Intermediate traders who want to compare their own approaches with standard patterns

  • Advanced users who want fast prototyping by modifying existing logic

Risks It Helps Reduce

Templates reduce design errors and overlooked risk checks, such as missing stop-loss rules or uncontrolled leverage. They do not remove market risk or strategy risk. Users should treat templates as educational and test them thoroughly before live deployment.

Connection to STB and CRA

Templates run on STB as automated strategies. CRA then evaluates each template’s live or historical performance, enabling users to decide which templates to keep, modify, or disable.
